THE IDAHO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (IEDA) “The Idaho Economic Development Association champions economic prosperity across Idaho through EDUCATION, NETWORKING, and ADVOCACY.”

IEDA MEMBERS actively participate in association activities, join together to find solutions to challenges facing our state and individual communities, and teach and learn from one another.  Members are encouraged to join Committees, attend association and related Events, continually increase in knowledge and experience, and be willing to assist other members.

Awards

Bob Potter Award
Bob Potter served as one of the first economic developers in Idaho for a local community that actively engaged in business attraction efforts. Author of Potter Principals, he has served as a role model for economic developers and has left a lasting legacy in Idaho.  In his honor, IEDA started an award program in the spring of 2015 to recognize economic development leaders in Idaho.
Economic Development Professional of the Year
The Idaho Economic Development Association wishes to recognize a currently practicing economic development professional who in the last twelve months has made a  significant impact in their community.
